In this week’s message, we look at the accidental truth-tellers leading up to the cross. From Caiaphas to the angry crowd, and even the mockers at Calvary—people who were trying to shut Jesus down actually ended up speaking the gospel out loud. They didn’t know it, but God was working right through their rebellion. This sermon reminds us that nothing can derail God's plan—not people, not sin, not even our mess. When religion fails and self-effort falls short, we need stronger stuff. And Jesus is it.
The cross is a symbol of death and hope all at the same time. Jesus died and rose from the dead. Likewise, our old nature must die so that we can live as a brand-new creation in Christ.
