Since 2003, Sweets Church has sent twelve mission teams to Cagayan de Oro, Philippines. Our goal has been to work alongside the local pastors to train, encourage and spread the good news of salvation through Jesus Christ.
Every year Sweets Corners Church sends a 40 ft shipping container filled with donated items which are an amazing blessing to the Filipino people of Cagayan de Oro City. We are excited and overwhelmed by the response of those who donated and those who received. Our prayer is to continue in this for as long as we are able and as God leads!
Mission Statement
Our mission is to collect, send, and distribute resources through local churches in the Philippines to produce long- term sustainability. This is only possible through the generosity of many local volunteer organizations and individuals.
Distribution Methods
Our distribution facility is located at the outskirts of Cagayan de Oro and is affectionately called “The Farm” by the locals. All donations are unloaded and sorted into twenty foot containers.
They are distributed by: Mission teams from Canada Local pastors and churches charged with distributing to the needy Other associated Christian organizations located in the Philippines
They are distributed to: Flood victims Landfill recycling area (Smokey Mountain) Tribes living in the local mountains HACI de Oro (Handicapped organization)

Statement of Faith
We believe that God owns everything and He has given us stewardship over His provisions. Thus, we are to become His instruments in distributing His resources. With these resources, we work towards training and equipping the people for long term sustainability. We work with local pastors to provide their churches and outreaches with the message of hope for daily living.
